Need a quick and easy thank you gift for a friend? Don’t worry, I have you covered with a budget-friendly thank you gift that pretty much anyone will appreciate – from your next door neighbor to your best friend.
I recently made these painted succulent favors for Project Wedding, but they could easily transition into a little pressie for any occasion, so I thought I would share them here. The pots are actually paper baking cups, which I painted in different designs and colors. There are stripes, polka dots, and even a few ombre ones (which actually remind me of the plaster painted votives I made a while back).

P.S. Don’t forget about Father’s Day…If your dad like to garden this would make a great last minute gift or add-on for him too. You can easily paint the baking cups with a more masculine design.
I’ve been wanting to add printables to the roster here at papernstitch for nearly a year now, but I know I don’t have the time or expertise to dream up cool designs for you. So I enlisted the help of a friend, who is an awesome designer…And today, I’m happy to announce a new, collaborative column called Print It, with Jordan from Create Like Crazy. Each month, we’ll be sharing a (totally free) printable here on PNS that you are free to download and enjoy.
This first printable is Thanksgiving-inspired, since Turkey day is just a few weeks away. BUT you can really use these all year long – anytime you want to say thanks to someone you love. When you download the PDF below, you’ll receive a notecard, 2 labels (one for wine and one for packages), and a gift tag.

I have a couple of projects planned to make over the weekend (all from this group of DIYs over on Pinterest). But before I let my creative mind wander for the day, I want to share one of my favorite shops for office/diy/party accessories with you.
It’s called Write with Moxie. Have you heard of it?
Because it’s awesome! Here are a few of my favorites…

Have a great weekend!
I have a real weakness for paper goods and letterpress just tugs at my purse strings. Pair that with unique + simple product styling and I’m sold. Waltzing into Paperreka’s online store, where the photos are stunning and all the items have spicy names (like cumin and saffron!) I felt like I’d found my one stop shop for everything “paperific.” Covering a range of events from weddings + baby showers, party thank yous + hostess gifts, to custom collaborations with Reka, the designer, there is something for your occasion + taste.
You might remember today’s shop of the day, Oh Dier, from my house tour on Etsy a while back (the hello sign in my office is Oh Dier). I am a huge fan of what William and Katie have created with their shop and just seem to become more impressed with their line of recycled wood signs the more I see them.
Of course I love my turquoise hello sign, but I am also thinking that this one would be a nice addition to our new place. Or this. Or this. Or…well, its kind of hard to decide….
Which one would you choose?
