<p><strong><a title="daria clothing (vintage clothes on etsy)" href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/dariavintage">Daria Vintage</a> </strong>is after my heart, combining two things I adore: vintage + polka dots. Check these out&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="vintage coral polka dot dress" href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/54741529/vintage-60s-coral-polkadot-long-sleeve">Coral Polka Dot Dress</a> + <a title="white polka dress (vintage)" href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/89660117/vintage-80s-white-polkadot-dress">White Polka Dot Dress</a> (the back of this one is really cute)</p>
<p><a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/dariavintage"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-44336" title="polka dots (vintage clothing from daria)" src="http://papernstitchblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/polkadots1.jpg" alt="" width="550" height="275" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a title="polka dot dress" href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/61263882/vintage-80s-gray-polkadot-dress">Gray Polka Dot Dress</a> (look at that collar) + <a title="blue polka dress with bow and flutter sleeves" href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/54594802/vintage-80s-flutter-sleeve-blue-polkadot">Flutter Sleeve Blue Polka Dot Dress</a></p>
<p>Of course there are other styles too &#8211; like this <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/94306099/vintage-70s-orange-floral-print-dress">70s print dress</a>, which is my absolute favorite. I think I would just get it hemmed a little shorter.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s the key to buying vintage (at least for me) &#8211; getting vintage clothes altered to fit your body perfectly will turn a dated dress into something totally new again!</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Over the weekend, I started organizing my office and realized I desperately need to decorate.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">For some reason my studio is the only room of our apartment that we haven&#8217;t really done anything to. <em>We did hang a couple of posters, but that hardly counts.</em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So I am thinking about what I want the room to be&#8230;I am picturing another art cluster (similar to the one I did in our old house) and a big shelf to house some of my favorite little trinkets. Which, of couse, led me to start looking for more little treasures to put in this (still un-purchased) trinket shelf. What is wrong with me?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So anyway, that leads me to today&#8217;s shop of the day: <strong><a title="vintage shop on etsy" href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/jollytimeone">Jolly Time One</a></strong>, a vintage shop full of bit and bobbins for the home. Love these <a title="vintage horseshoes" href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/43253931/vintage-horseshoes-with-nails-early-20th">horseshoes</a>. Totally want &#8216;em &#8211; and can picture them on my imaginary trinket shelf right now.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Visiting Sandy&#8217;s shop is kind of like walking into <a title="great vintage shop on etsy" href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/jollytimeone">an antique shop meets online thrift store</a>, with more than 300 items ranging from quirky odds and ends to functional storage to craft supplies. A little bit of everything.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">You&#8217;ll just have to <a title="vintage shop on etsy" href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/jollytimeone">see for yourself</a>.</p>

<p>It has been a very busy week for me, and I could really use a big ole chair to rest my tired legs. Now, you should probably know that my legs (and my design brain) are pretty picky about where they rest. So, this seemingly simple task can prove challenging at times.</p>
<p>Luckily, I know exactly where to go to find chairs that are right up my alley: <strong><a title="modern furniture on etsy" href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/CoMod">CoMod</a></strong>!</p>
<p>I just love this shop&#8230;great vintage furniture and accessories. All online (and on Etsy no less, so it&#8217;s incredibly familiar and easy to buy). Love that.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/CoMod"><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-36104" title="knoll vintage chair" src="http://papernstitchblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/il_570xN.258394034-550x501.jpg" alt="" width="550" height="501" /></a></p>
<p>I am going to head out for the weekend and wish you a very restful next couple of days. I&#8217;ll see you back here bright and early Monday.</p>

<p>Laura Mazurek is an eclectic vintage lover with an old soul. She&#8217;s translated her love of vintage treasures with that perfect aged patina into a fresh line she calls <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/violetbella">Violet Bella</a>. As she says, <em>&#8220;My line of jewelry, clothing and art speaks volumes of who I am. I am a lover of nature, a free spirit, an old soul and a constant creator. I adore vintage materials, granny squares, birds and leaves, patina, old keys and found objects. &#8220;</em></p>
<p><em><a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/violetbella"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-35119" title="violet bella (vintage clothing and vintage inspired jewelry)" src="http://papernstitchblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/violetbella1.jpg" alt="" width="550" height="275" /></a><br />
</em></p>
<p>The handmade goodies in Violet Bella will speak to your inner bohemian flower child while still being completely wearable and accessible. For a handmade line created by one artist, there&#8217;s an overwhelming amount of selection, too! I had to narrow my favorites down to three: this cute <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/66157987/sailor-girl-necklace">sailor girl necklace</a>, a <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/66001922/the-little-brass-owl-necklace">brass owl necklace</a>, and a pretty top made from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/54461797/pink-floral-pillowcase-top">a vintage pillowcase</a>!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Receive 10% off anything in <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/violetbella">Violet Bella</a> if you use the exclusive Papernstitch code, &#8216;papernstitch&#8217; at checkout.</strong></p>
