A friend of mine from Florida just had her first baby, and I am so happy for her.

It made me think of Jenny Present’s proud mama collection of jewelry because I know my friend is going to be such an amazing mom (and most definitely a proud one).

Of course you know, I am not a mom myself but I know many of you reading this are.

So to all you moms out there – you are awesome! And I just wanted to make sure someone told you that today.

Bonus! Receive exclusive 10% off to PNS readers for anything at www.jennypresent.com with coupon code: PNS10

I’m in the mood to shop today. So let’s talk about Sew Moe - a unique women’s clothing line featuring custom-crafted designs from Moe Erin Donnelly.

I am almost embarrassed to admit that have but a few handmade clothing pieces in my closet. Clothes are tough for me to buy online, which is where the majority of cute handmade clothes are always hiding (and many don’t offer returns). Luckily, Moe does allow for returns, which is so awesome! You have to be able to try on clothes to know how they fit and all that , right?

Do you ever have trouble finding clothes on Etsy with the option to return if it doesn’t fit? Or am I a lone ranger on this one?

And because there is no smooth way to transition into this…

Sew Moe has a special offer for the month of February: Buy any Sew Moe cardigan, and get any additional item from the shop 40% off! Message Moe the details (a cardigan plus…what?), and she’ll set up a bundled listing for you.

Visit Sew Moe now to take advantage of that special offer and browse the rest of the collection.

P.S. I am happy to announce the winner of the most recent giveaway here on the blog is Kay W. who said “I’d do something simple and neutral, but with just a hint of color – my choices would be grey, white and an orange-hued salmon.” Congrats Kay. Please email me at brittni(at)papernstitch(dot)com to collect your prize. And thank you to all that entered.

It seems like everything I love these days is coming from California. And I guess I am on a jewelry kick today too given my post this morning was a ring diy. Anyway…

Here’s a shop out of LA for example that I check into every so often when I need a pick me up: Chocolate and Steel. This eco-friendly jewelry shop’s entire collection is handcrafted by Christine Street. And she often asks amazing illustrators to collaborate with her on new designs, which is my fav (collabs are awesome)!

Aside from teaming up with artists like Gemma Correll and Susie Ghahremani, Christine also takes great care to ensure that her process is not harming the environment (hence the eco-friendly line).

Here’s a quote from Christine’s shop about her commitment to eco…

My studio is run in the most eco-friendly way possible. Metal scraps are saved and reclaimed, no harsh chemicals are used and my studio is powered by 100% renewable energy sources including wind and solar power.

You’ll have to check out her shop to see all the adorable jewelry creations. It’s enough to make your head explode into tiny, baby kittens cuddled up on a pile of feathers. :) Too much? Well, while you’re there… Receive a 20% discount on your entire purchase with code “PAPERNSTITCH2012″ at checkout. Visit Chocolate and Steel on Etsy now to use your discount code.

Artists David Birkey and Marie Gardeski just opened up a brand new shop called Imaginary Animal and it is full of things I will never get tired of:

1. tote bags (handmade of course-love the patterns)

2. loose-fitting tops (so I can eat more cupcakes + no one will notice)

3. and of course, artwork

You’ll have to head over to their shop to see everything else they carry (handmade goods including fine art, greeting cards, Handsoap, clothing, accessories and more). And be sure to bring this discount code with you while you’re over there…

Enter IMAGNARYSTITCH when checking out to receive 10% off your entire order at Imaginary Animal.

After a long day, sometimes I like to wind down by spending a few minutes just sitting still with my eyes closed. It helps to get me out of work mode, even if its just temporary.

So to end the day today, I thought I would share some serene photographs from Natalie French of The Shabby Photographer. Her photographs have a very tranquil quality to them and I hope you’ll enjoy ‘em as much as I do…

Valentine special :: Save 30% off all fine art prints from The Shabby Photographer with the code sweetlove at checkout, offer ends Feb 14th (that’s tomorrow). *Please note this offer excludes all jewelry, calendars & postcards. Only to be used when buying fine art prints.

See you tomorrow!

I am kind of in love with these screenprints from Seattle artist, Rebekah Albertson, right now. They are bizarre and detailed and I can’t take my eyes off of them.
