S. Love

slove

Last week, I got an email from Yanina telling me about this beautiful new collection from S. Love. W O W. Each piece in the collection is hand-painted and made entirely in NYC. The hand-made aspect of these dresses and scarves is what really pulled me in, especially the dresses. You just don’t see that very often.

slove1Designer, Sally LaPointe, paints each piece by hand, so no two are alike. Its like wearing a work of art.  And I’ve gotta tell you, if I had more cash flow, two of these dresses (Jett and Lucy) would already be sitting in my closet. Stunning.

What a breath of fresh air on an early Monday morning: Follow Studio is this week’s blog of the week. I love finding blogs and sites from different parts of the world, and it was only after I discovered the blog that I found Follow Studio the site (a paper goods and graphic design company) hailing from Sydney, Australia.

Shop of the Day

nosideupI have mentioned the work of  Maria Gil Ulldemolins of Nosideup several times before on the blog. Her portraits focus mainly on hair, and the intricate lines and simple beauty that comes with it. Maria’s new line of tote bags is quite clever as well. Don’t you think?

Visit Nosideup for more from Maria Gil Ulldemolins.
