Impress your friends and family this year by wrapping gifts in these unexpected keepsake boxes, which were recently featured on Brigitte.de. All you need are a few kraft boxes (with lids), craft glue, and some antique hankies (any fabric will do really). Big thanks to Brigitte.de for asking me to share this tutorial with their readers and take part in their design bloggers holiday craft series.

And just in case you can’t read German, here’s how you can make your own…

Remove the top of the box and coat with glue. Attach hankie while glue is wet, smooth, and fold excess underneath box top. Finish with more glue and allow to dry fully.

And one last thing for today… I know I have a pretty crafty (and awesome) bunch of readers around here, so if you’d like the chance to share one of your creative diy projects on papernstitch, head over to Ninth & Bird and enter the Deck the Blogs series. I am honored to be one of the sponsors of this blogging event and I’d really love to see what you can come up with.

So submit your favorite holiday craft, recipe, or DIY project right here on Ninth & Bird for your chance to win.
