I think my style is eclectic. I like French country, retro, modern, Asian and Indian inspired pieces. A little bit of everything.
BlessedBlogger commented on June 17th, 2011 at 9:53 ami would describe my style as global eclectic. I love collecting small things from my travels and throwing it all together!
S.Patel commented on June 17th, 2011 at 9:55 amI love better homes and gardens!
I think my home design style is romantic Scandinavian. I try and branch out to other types of style but always come back to lots of white and sleek lines!
Benedicte commented on June 17th, 2011 at 10:05 amI’m fairly traditional, but I like to add in some fun pieces here and there.
Audrey commented on June 17th, 2011 at 10:28 amI would say that my style right now is still college– even though i graduated 10 years ago!!! (yuck!)

Shannon commented on June 17th, 2011 at 10:34 amI don’t know what my design style is. I will find out in July when I move into my first apartment! I am excited to decorate the new space and combine the things I’ve had forever and the new things that will help me start me new life!
Jennifer commented on June 17th, 2011 at 10:38 amMy style is contemporary with a bit of Asian accents. I would like to have it more put together though- we have some pieces from different styles.
Anca commented on June 17th, 2011 at 10:41 amI haven’t had my own place for very long, so my style consists of pulling together re-purposed bargain finds, antiques from my grandma who passed away and some handmade creations. I love finding inspiration to redesign and redecorate my little apartment space, so would LOVE a subscription to Better Homes and Gardens!
Kailey Harris commented on June 17th, 2011 at 10:43 amI would say my style is modern country. I like some vintage-style accents like quilts and pillows, but I like the clean lines of modern furniture.

My style is a bit eclectic and creative in its own right. Modern, Indian, retro, and Asian, my home is a harmonious joining of loves and interests of two different individuals. My home is most defined by it’s bold colors, handmade crafts and vibrant flowers.
HappyHomeMaker commented on June 17th, 2011 at 10:48 amI would describe my style as eclectic meets modern-vintage. A little of this and a little of that with a touch of vintage.
{beth} commented on June 17th, 2011 at 11:06 amI think I’m like a pottery barn meets artsy fartsy. ha I have no idea what that means. Is there a name for that?

My style is so all over the place and I love it. Me and my fiance are really into att so when we see a painting/print we like we buy it. We find a way for it to work and it always does. I love how our walls are a collection of who we are!
Debbie commented on June 17th, 2011 at 12:24 pmI would describe my style as cheerfully eclectic. I like “clean” looks but love an old piece of furniture with a story!
Ashley J. commented on June 17th, 2011 at 12:37 pmMy style is constantly changing but could be described as a hybrid of retro and modern.

My style … as I live here with my husband it is a mix … I like old furniture and colors. He likes more modern things, steel, black …
But they get older … and hopefully our home style will evolve …
Ms Muffin commented on June 17th, 2011 at 3:18 pmBut to be honest … at the moment I would say our two kids (5 and 1) decide more about our style than our likes or dislikes. It really is not easy to baby or kidproof a place for my little one year old guy!

Its working so far!
Noelia commented on June 17th, 2011 at 3:24 pmMy style is retro/free.Which means the things I own were mostly given to me,and most of them were given because they’re retro….
Nathalie commented on June 17th, 2011 at 3:36 pmI don’t think my style necessarily fits into a specific category, but if I had to label it as something it would be vintage modern in the works!
kristin commented on June 17th, 2011 at 3:36 pmmy style has to be eclectic. i love mid century modern and new modern, too. but it has to be balanced with a lot of old stuff

My home style is unfinished with hints of planned improvements! Although I would probably use the words eccentric and eclectic to describe it as well. Bookshelves, lots and lots of bookshelves.
Old leather, dark wood, pictures in frames and lots of colorful homemade rugs and blankets.

I live with my boyfriend so I think our style is mostly modern but I like to add eclectic pieces. I’m a big fan of animal motifs. I plan on getting a cardboard deer head to put on the wall next to his guitars.

My home design style…never really thought about putting it into words. Hmmm…
It is definitely a combo of traditional & industrial – upholstered headboard with glass & metal bedside tables for example. Plus a mix of black & white photographs (one of a nude!) on the wall with old pictures of our family’s sailboats & family documents. All framed similarly though. We love it! Oh, and a giant piece of taxidermy…
Maybe traditional eclectic is the best way to describe it…

Kerry commented on June 18th, 2011 at 11:57 amIs confused a style? Or I guess you would call it eclectic! I live in what I love and that varies a great deal so there’s no one cohesive theme. Its like my garden, which someone once commented that it was like a zoo, one or two of everything.
Siew commented on June 18th, 2011 at 12:19 pmEclectic, flea-markety, for sure! We have a Noguchi table flanked by Indiana farm porch rockers with a Craftsman style floor lamp, advertising display case with vintage souvenir glasses perched inside, etc…Somehow, it works! Thanks for all of the giveaways.

I would definitely describe our home style as country/funky/mis-matched – We’ve consolidated every piece of free housewares from both of our college apartments and haven’t really made an attempt at bringing everything together – But I like it that way – Everything has a story
