Mai McKemy’s line of innovative jewelry and hair accessories is delicate, sophisticated, and playful. Working with cast bronze, sterling silver, and other materials, she designs each item in the Woodland Belle collection personally and with great skills and attention to detail.
So what is a “Woodland Belle”? I’ll let Mai explain it:
“Blending sophistication with playfulness, my idea of the woodland belle is that of the modern woman full of charm and refined sensibilities…Simply put, a woodland belle is beautiful; a woodland belle is still a girl at heart, with a fire for discovery. She is bright and optimistic; she knows that there are still treasures to be found in the world.”
Inspired by the blue ridge mountains and objects in nature surrounding her studio. It’s hard to choose favorite but I’m in awe of this Tiny Succulent Garden necklace- they look like real plants!
