Birds chirping, flowers blooming, and temperatures slowly starting to rise: spring is here, and I can hardly believe it. This winter was a long one (at least it seemed long to me). So, now that spring has officially arrived, I am in full on “almost summer” mode. So, helping me bridge the gap between spring and summer, rounding out the day, is Diana of D.S. Brennan Photography. Her photos are not only lovely, but they also quite driven by nature’s wonders: flora and fauna. So they seemed a perfect fit for today.

As I scrolled through your gorgeous images, I thought “these are so lovely,” and I would have posted that, but jamberrysong already said it so sweetly…I still second her opinion! Cheers!

Oh hey, I met her!!! I bought a photo of hers on Etsy and then realized that she’s in Rhode Island- my home state. Since I was on my way there to visit family we met up in person and talked Etsy. Diana’s great!

this reminds me of an exhibition i installed once…it looks like a lovely cross between beauty…and study of flora and fauna from a scientific perspective.

Lovely. My personal fave of these is the first one with bottles and flowers. Somehow it reminds me of the summers of my childhood…

Isn’t that wonderful when art reminds you of fond childhood memories Mervi? I love when that happens.
