One of the things that I like most about Laura Evans’ photography is the way she often limits the viewer’s point of view with her compositions. When I look at Laura’s photos I am intrigued: always wondering what lies just outside of the frame. And I think its that kind of intrigue that keeps an audience engaged (at least for me anyway).
What do you think? I’d love to know your thoughts on this.

We’re in the newest issue of Family Fun magazine.
I’ve known about this for a while, and I’ve been waiting patiently to share the news. The November issue just came out, so now I can share. Yeah!
This crazy cork container tutorial that I did a while back was chosen as one of six gifts kids can make for the holidays (or anytime really). And mine was the opener or the article (see that green page below- that’s my project). I know it looks different than what I originally created, but I actually really like it. Definitely has a fun kids vibe to it.

1. You may have noticed the blog looks a tiny bit different today. Jeff has been working on a few tweaks. We’ve updated our header a little bit and made the content column larger. And now there is finally a button that links back to the pns exhibition site (top right)! Yippee. There is still more to be done. Baby steps – we’ll get there eventually.
2. I also wanted to mention that we have selected the winners for the Chelsea Victoria print giveaway. Congratulations to Claire Cooker, Janette, and Notabilia. Each of you have won a beautiful print from Chelsea’s shop. Big thank you to Chelsea Victoria who provided the gorgeous photographs for this giveaway and for this awesome BOGO below.
