I’ve been a fan of Ann Arbor artist, Nicole Ray, for quite some time now. And I imagine its not hard to figure out why. Nicole’s print shop, Sloe Gin Fizz, is filled with illustrations of whimsy, and the cheery spirit throughout Nicole’s work never fails to bring a smile to my face.
Recently, Nicole completed work for a Design Sponge city guide of Ann Arbor as well, which you can find right here. My mom lives in Ann Arbor. Wonder if she would recognize these landmarks?

That’s awesome Erin. The bird image is one of my favorites. I know Nicole does a lot of shows and festivals. Hopefully I’ll get to go to one eventually and I’ll meet her.
