I am in so in love with these sewn prints by Clare Elsaesser of Tastes Orangey this morning. The rich brushstrokes and intriguing color palette, encompassed in a small, stitched box, just send me to another place. A place of escape, which I often need at the end of the day.

More about the artist… Clare lives and works in the Bodega Bay area and received her BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. And we are very please to have Clare as an exhibitor in the newest papernstitch exhibition, which opened this morning.

To view more sewn prints and original paintings from Clare Elsaesser, visit her shop, Tastes Orangey, on etsy.

So lovely – the stitching is so simple, yet it makes more of an impact that I would expect.
