My design philosophy has always been a blank canvas (meaning white walls) is the best way to start. Ironically, its not something that I am currently implementing in my own home. BUT this house is the perfect example. Found via Emmas designblogg.

What’s your design philosophy?

One of a kind handmade & crocheted items made with pure wool from Miti Mota. The wool is produced by indigeous women of the designer’s country, Chile. How great is that?

Visit Miti Mota on etsy and papernstitch to view more of the collection.

That’s going to do it for this week. After reading more than 250 surveys answered by you all this week (thank you), it seems that tutorials and crafty business tips are amongst the two highest categories readers would like more of. I’ve already begun implementing the biz tips. And I have a lot of fun stuff lined up for next week too, including a long overdue tutorial. So, be sure to come back next week for that.

And if you would like to be a part of the survey, I will keep it open until this coming Tuesday. Each person who fills it out will have a chance at winning a prize valued at $50 retail. Participate in the survey here. Hope you weekend is amazing. Here are your weekend links and discounts…

-Love these mixed media pieces by Nazario Graziano found on Pikaland.

Need a gift for a crafty friend? I’d suggest heading over to Phydeaux Designs for beautiful, handmade buttons and downloadable crochet and knit patterns, starting at just $5.50. Maybe even get a head start on this year’s Christmas presents. Those knitting projects can take a while can’t they?

I just received this necklace from Sima of Simag a few days ago and wanted to show it off. I think its my new fav. Very simple (which I love) and it has a little phrase stamped on it that Jeff and I use to say to one another. Aww.

Sima is offering a special discount for pns readers right now as well. Receive 10% off your entire order at www.simagilady.com when you use the discount code “papernstitch” at checkout. Her jewelry is so beautiful in person. Be sure to check it out. Thanks Sima!
