It takes a lot of work to make a house a home. Whether its decorating and re-decorating each and every room of your home, choosing between the perfect sofas, or attempting to find the “right” wall color for the third time (we ran into this problem with our dining room), it can be difficult to pull everything together. Ohhhh great giveaway! I love the iittala Alvar Aalto 3.75 and I think I need it. Maybe then I would get some fresh flowers!

No. 3: Areaware Bestow Vase/Candle Holder
Because when I was a toddler, we had a foot statue that I would play with all the time, until suddenly one day I realised it was a foot, but assumed it was a REAL foot, and cried and screamed until someone took it away. To this day, I still don’t like feet, but hands however, what a great design! Reminds me of the hands from Jim Henson’s Labryinth.

I can just see fresh mint and lemongrass on my counter! and love the little scissors that are right there attached to it. I would love to review/win that for sure.
Cathy B commented on May 13th, 2010 at 1:33 pmDon’t get me wrong, aquas, greens, and seablue glass are part of my coastal decor project.. and having spent much time in Finland, I truly love so many of their designs. this vase would look great in the sunroom… But, I also noticed it is a mini vase… only 3 inches high… so that limits its usage to nosegays or mini floral arrangements…hmm..or seashells!! smmiling)

Okay. I totally thought of some more ideas that I could use with the help of Normann Copenhagen’s Herb Stand. I would use it to grow pleasant herbs to make herbal tea! I think the herb stand would be a great benefit to my growth of herbs like lemongrass, rosehips, lavender, orange mint, ooh my all kinds!

I love unexpected stuff like that – throw people through a loop and make them laugh. I would totally drill a hole in the wall of my rental apartment and risk my landlady’s wrath for that item. For sure.
