It takes a lot of work to make a house a home. Whether its decorating and re-decorating each and every room of your home, choosing between the perfect sofas, or attempting to find the “right” wall color for the third time (we ran into this problem with our dining room), it can be difficult to pull everything together. Not to mention costly.
Luckily we have an amazing giveaway that starts today from the folks at the allmodern.com family of sites that can help out with that. We are giving away one of these three items to a lucky winner (winner’s choice).
Here are your choices…
Option No. 1: Normann Copenhagen Herb Stand {retail value $63}
Option No. 2: iittala Alvar Aalto 3.75″ Water Green Vase {retail value $70}
Option No. 3: Areaware Bestow Vase/Candle Holder {retail value $75}
Here’s how to enter…
You can enter up to two times and there are three ways to enter.
1. Subscribe to the papernstitch blog by clicking here and then leave a message in the comments that says “subscribed”. **I’ll know if you really did or did not subscribe, so let’s play fair.
2. Tell us which of these items above you can’t live without and why.

Thanks for the giveaway
The iittala vase for me. It has style and form and is quirky enough to make people think about how it works.

Tali Schiffer commented on May 22nd, 2010 at 1:50 pmI would love to have the “Areaware Bestow Vase/Candle Holder”. It’s so cool! I think though, that if I win it, I would actually try putting it standing upright on a shelf and then I’d find what to put in the palm (maybe I’d still put a candle, but with a drip plate underneath…)
Tali Schiffer commented on May 22nd, 2010 at 1:56 pmOhhh, I just subscribed and I would LOVE that green vase. I have been eyeing one of a similar style at Crate & Barrel, but you can’t beat free!
Maggie commented on May 23rd, 2010 at 3:02 pmI already subscribe.
rachel commented on May 24th, 2010 at 12:23 pmI love the vase/candle holder, but the herb stand is also pretty nice.
I subscribe thru google reader
Sydney S commented on May 24th, 2010 at 2:37 pmI would LOVE to win Option No. 2: iittala Alvar Aalto 3.75″ Water Green Vase, it would be the perfect piece to go in our living room that we just re-decorated!
Sydney S commented on May 24th, 2010 at 2:39 pmTo be honest i love the 2nd one because it reminds me to my very first and only trip outside my country. I went to Finland and saw those over some stores, i didnt have the money to buy them in fact i didnt travel with a lot of money so i couldnt buy those design things … and i dunno, they just remind me of that and my friends and i will love to have it at home.
Noelia commented on May 24th, 2010 at 8:48 pmI must have option-three with the hand. I’m obsessed with hand shapes for crafts. I have a large perennial garden so lots of flowers ready to be displayed in unusual way.

judith commented on May 26th, 2010 at 11:17 pmI would love love the herb planters because I’m moving to a new place with not a lot of space inside or outside for an herb garden, but I don’t want to give up my fresh herbs!
