I think music is a form of art? Then my first art purchase was the Madonna True Blue cassette tape that I played over and over again in my walkman.

You know, after looking at Audrey’s shop, I believe I like the one being given away best. Having to choose from the ones for sale I would pick Utopia #11, I like the colors and all the little ovals scattered around.

The first work of art I remember buying was a large charcoal drawing of a nude. I was done while the paper was wet ant the paper had torn on this particular piece so it was cheaper than the rest. I was about 24,newly divorced with a baby, and setting up house on my own. This was one thing I could afford and i thought it quite racy. That was almost 40 years ago, I don’t know what happened to the picture in my many moves since then!

  12. The first piece of art I purchased was sea glass bracelet from the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach.

Since then, my husband and I have begun collecting peices from the Secret Art of Dr. Seuss and have three pieces thus far.

The first piece of art I acquired was a Mucha poster print…back in the first years of marriage, when we were broke…and even a poster cramped our budget!
