Shop of the Day: You may remember today’s shop of the day from this market tote giveaway (which is still going on until November 4th- so be sure to enter). BananaSaurus Rex is perfect for your flirty bohemian side (like this hostess apron), and your eco-friendly sensibilities (like these cloth reusable snack baggies).

Giveaway! This week is certainly off to a good start with a winner’s choice giveaway from photographer, Tricia McKellar of Eyeful. Tricia has generously decided to allow the winner of this giveaway to select any 8×10 print from her shop as a prize, and with dozens of prints to choose from, it is going to be a difficult decision. Retail value $30. Here are a few of the images you will find in Tricia’s shop…
How do you enter the giveaway?
There are several ways to play and you may enter up to three times. First, visit Tricia’s shop, Eyeful, and browse around for your favorite 8×10 photograph, then come back here and tell us which one you would most like to win. Second way to play, answer this question in the comments: What is your favorite subject to photograph and why? Third, twitter or blog about this giveaway or Tricia’s shop or website and leave a link in the comments here.
The giveaway will end on November 9th at 11:59 pm eastern time.

As a girl who likes to shop, I can confidently say there is no such thing as enough storage space. And if, like me, your closet overfloweth, perhaps you need to get in touch with Jephte Francissen.

Spotted on Dezeen, the Hoog en Droog (“High and Dry”) storage system was created using leftover pieces of wood from a furniture maker. The wooden storage crates feature a hoist system that allows them to be raised towards the ceiling and out of the way.

In short, “Hoog en Droog is an attic for clutter for people with clutter but no attic.”

Genius, I say, genius!
Today marks the start of the newest exhibition, and of course, we have some wonderful shops! These are my picks for today. For more info on the items you see here, visit the papernstitch site.

Shop of the Day: Portland artist, Katie Parry of Daphne Cellophane, is Monday’s shop of the day. The characters Katie dreams up with her illustrations are simply drawn and pure. This is one of my favorites from her shop.
