Shop of the Day: The housewares from Girlscantell are so unusual and at the same time, so perfect for my own home (and maybe yours too). The entire collection from girlscantell is hand printed and designed from hand drawn diagrams of everyday machines, like typewriters and cameras.

The work of photographer Matt Schwartz, has a whimsical, almost dreamlike, quality to it. His work has been featured on Daily Candy and is currently for sale at Anthropologie.

Wouldn’t these plant sculptures make a whimsical addition to any home? I think so. (Then again, I’m also in a nesting frenzy, and all I want to do is clean, decorate, bake, and decorate some more…)

However, I bet if you really hunkered down you could make an equally awesome DIY version. I think they’d really spruce up an end table or kitchen table. Or perhaps even as a unique wedding centerpiece.
