Between attempts to be “Green” and a desire to save money, I’m always intrigued by innovative ways to reuse and repurpose household items. I spotted these tin can lids by Jack Bresnahan on Dezeen via My Favorite Things, and am just flabbergasted by the brilliance.

Jack feels that ‘anything that ends up in landfill is simply poor design’.

Keeping that theory in mind, Jack created a set of 9 biodegradable plastic lids that can be placed on top of a washed tin can and immediately revolutionize its purpose.

Who knew it was so simple to turn a can of baked beans into a toothbrush holder, vase, or soap dispenser?
Happy Tuesday,

This is brilliant – what a wonderful idea!
