As a dress-aholic who dreams of jetting off to exotic locales on a regular basis, I swooned when I saw these map-made dresses over on Black Eiffel. Artist Elisabeth Lecourt says that “Les Robes Geographiques” is a way of representing “the wearer’s habitat and identity.” I just love the combination of fashion and geography – a kind of visual representation of where we come from and where we’d like to go next.
PS – You can also sneak a peek into the artist’s studio right here.
Have a fantastic long weekend!
