Wednesday Art Showcase – EekDesign

This week’s artist has me a little bit smitten with simple lines and patterns. And I seem to have a little bit of a crush on deer lately anyway, so this first one was love at first sight.

Erin Paisley, the artist behind EekDesign, lives in Milwaukee and makes her art with no sorts of degrees or training. She’s self-taught completely and makes all of her own screen and giclee prints.

 

This last one has text from a Slovak proverb that reads, “We disregard what we’ve got, always chasing what we’ve not.” Seems like a good phrase to have in the back of your mind, no?
