This is tres cool. I have some chalkboard contact paper lying around, and some unused Ikea frames, you’ve inspired me to use ‘em in a similar manner! The opposite strips of woodgrain do make it look really cool, though.

So far I haven’t had any problem with it looking like too hole-y. I use thin sewing needles as tacks though.
